In a rare public appearance, Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, received a warm welcome and a standing ovation at his father’s political rally in Florida.
The 18-year-old, who recently graduated from high school and is preparing to enter college, waved to cheering supporters at the Miami Doral Golf Club.
In a video that the New York Post shared, Donald Trump proudly introduced Barron, praising both his academic standing and the crowd’s fondness for him. “This is a very young man. He just turned 18 — oh, look at this,” exclaimed Trump, as the audience erupted in applause.
“This is the first time he’s ever done this,” Trump went on, prompting Barron to get up and give a fist pump and wave to the enthusiastic crowd.

“You’re pretty popular,” Trump remarked to his son, teasing that Barron might even be more popular than his older brothers, Don Jr. and Eric.
Reminiscing about his childhood, Trump mentioned how Barron’s life had recently changed.
Compared to his older siblings, Barron, who is a remarkable six-foot-seven, has mostly avoided the spotlight. The event stirred mixed reactions on social media, with some speculating on Barron’s future in politics amidst the family’s public profile.
Melania Trump is reportedly worried as Barron enters adulthood and prepares for college, with Harvard being mentioned as a possible alma mater.
According to The Mirror, she’s even thinking about taking weekly flights to New York City to be near her son while he attends college.
Earlier in the month of May, Barron Trump was chosen as a delegate to represent Florida at the Republican National Convention (RNC), his highest-profile political role to date.
However, he backed out citing “prior commitments”, according to his mother Melania Trump.
Barron’s name also came up in his father’s hush money trial when the judge approved Trump’s plea to excuse himself from court on May 17, enabling him to attend his son’s high school graduation.
