Addressing a press conference here this afternoon, Fadnavis said, “The MVA government should see signs from the outcome of the Rajya Sabha elections. Not only are people unhappy in the state, but the members of the Legislative Assembly are also unhappy with the present system.”
The Leader of Opposition in the state assembly said the MVA constituents should introspect about their style of functioning.
“Elections are also going to be held for the Maharashtra Legislative Council (10 seats) on June 20 in the state. In the Rajya Sabha elections, the MLAs had to show their ballot papers to the respective party leaders. The MVA still failed to win the fourth seat. from your candidates. Imagine what would happen in council elections where voting takes place in secret,” he said.
There are many issues and problems that people were facing and which need to be addressed on priority basis. The former Chief Minister said that the MVA government should pay attention to this.
