At BJP’s OBC meet, Adityanath targets SP: ‘Opposition troubled by success of OBC youths’ | Lucknow News

DURING THE Samajwadi Party’s rule in UP, 56 of 86 SDMs (Sub-Divisional Magistrates) appointed in 2015-2016 by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission belonged to a single caste, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath alleged on Monday.

Addressing a state working committee meeting of the BJP Backward Class Front, Adityanath said that this move was “detrimental” to the interests of the other backward classes (OBC) community. The Opposition parties are “troubled by the increasing success of OBC youths”, hesaid.

He added that just like foreign invaders had sought to divide Hindu society in the past, the Opposition parties are now similarly conspiring to create “internal conflicts” among Hindus in the guise of “pseudo-secularism.”

The CM said that the OBC community “possesses the strength of Bajrangbali (Lord Hanuman), which needs to be awakened to counter these divisive forces.” Adityanath said that it wouldn’t take long to dismantle the metaphorical “Lanka” of Ravana—those attempting to split Hindu society.

He said over the past six-and-a-half years, nearly 650,000 government recruitments have been made, with 60% of the positions filled by OBC candidates.
