AAP leaders Isudan Gadhvi and Gopal Italia held meetings with party workers in Junagadh and Rajkot on Friday, as part of the party’s ‘Mission Vistaar’, a campaign to create a organisation at booth levels in Gujarat.
Gujarat AAP president Gadhvi and AAP national joint secretary Italia held meetings with local leaders and workers at circuit house in Junagadh first and then in Rajkot.
In a statement, the party said that the objective of Mission Vistaar was to enrol new workers and create an organisation of the party right down to each of the 55,000 polling booths in Gujarat.
The two leaders also discussed with workers the election to Junagadh Municipal Corporation due later this year as well as election to taluka and district panchayats as well as other municipal corporations in 2026.
The statement quoted Gadhvi as saying that in the local body election, AAP will promise that residential societies would be allowed to decide what budgetary allocations were needed in their areas.
