Coming down to the issue, independent MLA Rana asked Chief Minister Thackeray to recite Hanuman Chalisa at his private residence ‘Matoshree’ on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday, which was criticized by Shiv Sena.

Shiv Sena leader Kishori Pednekar hit back at Rana for targeting the Chief Minister.
“We, Shiv Sainiks, are still alive. We dare you to come to Matoshree and then you will see what Shiv Sainiks are made of. Prayers should be done at home,” said the former Mumbai mayor.
Raj Thackeray will take part in Hanuman Chalisa recitation program in Pune on Saturday.
