A total of 163 prisoners lodged in various jails of the state have been acquitted. U P Board Examination conducted by Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP), the official said on Saturday. On Saturday, both the 10th and 12th results were declared at 2 pm and 4 pm respectively.
A total of 95 inmates passed the class 10th board exam, while 68 passed the class 12th exam.
According to the UP Board officials, a total of 103 prisoners appeared class 10th exam from 12 district jails, out of which 95 passed the exam with a pass percentage of 92.23.
A total of 96 prisoners from 16 district jails appeared in the examination, out of which 68 cleared the examination, with a pass percentage of 70.83, officials said.
Most of the inmates who appeared in the board exams belonged to Ghaziabad District Jail. while 33 prisoners Jail Took class 10th exam out of which 31 passed. Officials said that 25 other prisoners appeared in the class 12th examination and passed it.
