The much awaited second chapter of Yash’s KGF which released in 2018 is finally hitting the theaters. It is the story of a young boy who makes a promise to his mother to become a rich man before he dies. To fulfill his promise, he takes the path of crime. The first part ends with Yash’s Rocky handling the gold mines, and the second part tells the story of the ensuing turf war. Although KGF Chapter 1 received a good response, the second part did not impress the critics. Indian Express‘ Shubhra Gupta wrote in her review, ‘The problem with working on their looks in films is that they forget the plotting. KGF 2 randomly swings between past and present.”
