Axotel appoints Pramod Pillai as VP and Head of Global Partnerships

Bangalore-based full stack customer engagement platform Axotel announced the addition of its leadership team by appointing Pramod Pillai as VP and Head, Global Partnerships. In his new role, Pillai will establish partnerships with global system integrators (GSIs) and expand Axotel’s global footprint through CSP (communication service providers) initiatives.

Sachin Bhatia, Chief Development Officer, Axotel said that the partnership is an important growth lever for the company’s full stack initiatives across all geographies. “We will invest in GSI (Global Systems Integration) partners, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), CSPs (Communication Service Providers) and startup ecosystems as part of the partnership org,” he said.

With more than 20 years of experience, Pillai has played an integral role in building and scaling enterprise sales and partnerships, working with global technology companies including Qubeole, IBM and HCL. Prior to Axotel, Promod Pillai worked at Check Point Software Technologies, a NASDAQ listed cyber security company, where she served as Director- IT/ITES Vertical and GSI Business Leader.

Axotel announced two new additions to leadership for its marketing and delivery and support teams earlier this quarter. With an existing team size of over 1000, Axotel plans to hire 700 new employees this fiscal as part of its hyper-growth strategy. Axotel is at a unique crossroads of modern communication technology, meeting market demand and the company’s offerings as well as the AI-powered platform providing an end-to-end approach in the customer engagement space, said Promod Pillai. “A large diverse partner ecosystem can leverage our full stack platform for multiple solutions, particularly around cloud and digital modernization. We will build and expand this ecosystem for better reach, customer serviceability and depth of solutions in global markets,” he highlighted.
