Heavy rainfall in the catchment areas has resulted in increased inflows into major reservoirs in Karnataka. The Krishnarajasagar (KRS) dam, which supplies water to Bengaluru, was recording an inflow of 11,027 cusecs as of Sunday morning. The water level at KRS, too, was much better than it was during the same period last year.
