NHAI sets Guinness World Record for laying the longest bituminous lane of 75 km in 105 hours and 33 minutes

State-owned NHAI has created a Guinness World Record for longest continuous bituminous lane of 75 km in 105 hours and 33 minutes on a national highway between Amravati and Akola districts in Maharashtra. Referring to the record, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Wednesday that the project was implemented by 720 workers, including a team of independent consultants, who worked day and night.
