A major fire broke out on a container cargo merchant vessel about 102 nautical miles southwest of Goa, causing explosions on the front part of the ship on Friday evening. A 68-year-old man was found murdered at his house in North Goa’s Candolim early Sunday morning. The police identified the victim as Arnaldo Joseph Soares, a native of Goa who held a Canadian passport and had been living in the state for the last eight years at Orda Waddo. SSC result: Over 92% students clear Goa class 10 board exam

[ad_1] A total of 92.75% students have cleared the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHE), an official said on Wednesday. According to board chairman Bhagirath Shetty, out of 20,345 students, 18,869 have cleared the class 10 exam. The exam was conducted in the month of April.
