Indian cinema is over a 100 years old now but there was a time just 30 or so years ago when Hindi films were made with absolutely no planning. In a recent interview, film critic Anupama Chopra, who was a film journalist in the 1990s, said that the Cine and TV Artistes Association had to actually issue a guideline saying that an actor could only take up either 12 or 14 films at a time.
