Reliance Jio recently announced the Jio Freedom Day offers for users interested in purchasing a new broadband connection. As part of the limited-time promotional offer, the company will waive off the Rs 1,000 installation fee for new Jio AirFiber customers if they book a connection before August 15.
Previously, users had to pay Rs 3,121 for a three-month all-in-one plan, which included Rs 1,000 installation charges. But now that the company is waiving off the charges, new users who purchase a new connection between July 26 and August 15 will have to pay Rs 1,000 less for plans with 3-month and 6-month validity. The company already waives installation charges for its annual plan.
To book a new Jio AirFiber connection, you can either give a missed call at 60008-60008, visit their nearest Jio Store or head over to the official website. Unlike wired broadband connections, Jio AirFiber is a wireless internet service that offers last-mile connectivity by delivering broadband-like speed over the air. This is especially useful in areas where it is hard to lay down optical fibres.

Jio Airfiber plans and benefits
The cheapest Jio AirFiber plan costs Rs 599 per month without GST and gives you 1,000GB of data at 30 Mbps, after which the speed will be reduced to 64kbps. If you want more speed, the Rs 899 plan has the same data limit and validity but offers speeds up to 100 Mbps. Those who want more OTT platforms can also check out the Rs 1,199 plan, which has the same benefits and validity as the Rs 899 but includes access to Netflix Basic and Amazon Prime Lite, JioCinema Premium and FanCode.
With all Jio AirFiber plans, you get access to 800-plus TV channels and OTT platforms like JioCinema, Sony Liv, Disney+ Hotstar, Lionsgate, Zee5, Discovery+, Hoichoi, Sun NXT, ShemarooMe, DocuBay, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Epic On and ETV Win.
