A delegation led by the Leader of the Maharashtra Opposition on Tuesday Devendra Fadnavis Koshyari at Raj Bhavan and demanded a floor test claiming that the Uddhav Thackeray government has lost its majority and needs to go for a floor test.
“We have met the Honorable Governor and given him a letter regarding the political situation in the state, Shiv Sena39 K MLAs are out and have said they don’t want to be with them Congress And the NCP and they have taken this stand. In such circumstances the Chief Minister and the government do not have majority and hence they should be asked to prove majority. Fadnavis said after meeting the governor.
“We have also given examples of many decisions to take, we hope the governor will decide,” he said.
Fadnavis said it is a clear case that the Uddhav government is in minority as Shiv Sena MLAs have said that they do not want to be with the government which includes Congress and NCP.
